Employees invited to be an ally in recognition of Pride Month
In recognition of Pride Month in June, members of YNHH’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and the Department of Food and Nutrition organized an LGBTQ+ Pride table. This 3rd annual event included displays in the YSC East Pavilion cafeteria and SRC main cafeteria with an “I Am an Ally” poster for employees to sign, Pride pins, handouts on pronouns and allyship and a slideshow. Here, Jamie Kalogeros, patient experience manager, Food and Nutrition, offered a “Pride cookie” to Anthony Demartino, retail manager, Food and Nutrition, during the event.
