Employees invited to be an ally in recognition of Pride Month

During Pride Month in June, members of Yale New Haven Hospital’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council and the Department of Food and Nutrition organized an LGBTQ+ Pride table. This fourth annual event included displays in the cafeterias at both campuses with “I Am an Ally” posters for employees to sign, Pride pins and handouts on pronouns and allyship. Shante Teel-Williams, RN, (left) patient services manager, Smilow Cancer Hospital, and Renee Webb, assistant chief technologist, Diagnostic Radiology, greeted employees with special Pride cookies and Pride Month information cards.
