YNHH honored 2019 and 2020 Quarter Century Club inductees via a Zoom event July 7. Inductees also received special gifts as a thank you for their years of service.
Hats off to the 2021 Yale New Haven Hospital employees inducted into the YNHH Quarter Century Club on July 7!
YNHHS Chief Executive Officer Marna Borgstrom and YNHH President Keith Churchwell, MD, co-hosted a virtual event to honor the employees for their 25-plus years of dedicated service to patients, colleagues and communities.
“I congratulate and salute each one of you with incredible gratitude for all you have done during your time here, and especially for getting us through the last year and a half, which has been arguably the most challenging period,” said Borgstrom.
“Thank you for your dedication to patients and also to your colleagues, which is incredibly important,” added Dr. Churchwell. “Your commitment is remarkable, and consistent with the mission and values of this organization.”
Employees working in clinical and non-clinical areas across the hospital became members of the Quarter Century Club classes of 2019 and 2020. Two years of inductees were honored this year, as the pandemic postponed last year’s celebration.
Dr. Churchwell also recognized one of YNHH’s longest-tenured employees, Natalie Ortoli-Drew, lab section coordinator, who celebrated a 55-year service milestone in 2020.
Congratulations to all employees who achieved milestone service anniversaries in the past two years. Visit the the story on the YNHH intranet (in network only) to see which of your colleagues were newly inducted into the Quarter Century Club.
