Heart Walk participants can’t be beat

Cardiologist Joyce Oen-Hsiao, MD, Heart and Vascular Center (HVC), was among those who participated in the American Heart Association’s annual Greater New Haven Heart Walk May 1. Teams representing Yale New Haven Hospital’s HVC, Yale School of Medicine and Yale University raised $25,385 to help support research and advances related to heart disease and stroke. Cardiologist Robert Elder, MD, director of the Adult Congenital Heart Program at YNHH’s HVC, chaired the virtual walk. HVC co-chairs were Cindy Kenney, RN, assistant patient services manager, Verdi 3 East, and Alison Brennan, RN, nursing professional development specialist.
