Yale Medical Symphony concert Oct. 21

Yale Medical Symphony Orchestra invites you to get into the season of tricks and treats with its Halloween Concert in Harkness Auditorium, 7:30 pm Friday, Oct. 21. Admission is free. Masks are required for entry. The program includes selections from Rachmaninoff, Humperdinck, Weber, Gounod, Saint-Saëns and Mussorgsky. 

Friends of YNHCH Gala Oct. 22

The Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital Gala will be held 7 - 11 pm Saturday, Oct. 22, at Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club, Branford. Clifford W. Bogue, MD, chief of Pediatrics and chief medical officer, Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, will receive the 2022 Marna P. Borgstrom Lifetime Friend Award at the event. Dr. Bogue is also chair of Pediatrics and the Waldemar Von Zedtwitz Professor of Pediatrics, Yale School of Medicine. Founded in 1989, the Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital has helped improve the health and well-being of pediatric patients by supporting clinical care, education and outreach.
