Quick tips - emergency management

• Be sure your phone number is up to date in Infor so the hospital can reach you in an emergency. Log into Infor, go to “My Profile” and “Personal Information.” You will receive automatic alerts when necessary.
• The Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) addresses and resolves problems during emergencies. Be sure to escalate major issues, concerns and emergencies as soon as they occur to ensure important information reaches Incident Command.
• Watch for emails from HICS-YNHH. The hospital’s Incident Command sends regular emails during emergencies with information on closings, parking, sleeping arrangements and other topics. 
• View the hospital’s Emergency Operations Plan. You can find operational plans at Disaster Preparedness and Response on the intranet (in network only).
