Verdi 3 South earns prestigious national award

The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) recently awarded Yale New Haven Hospital’s Verdi 3 South Surgical unit a Silver Beacon Award for Excellence. The award recognizes units that demonstrate exceptional patient care through excellent patient outcomes and patient experience within a positive and supportive work environment.

At a hybrid in-person and virtual ceremony Nov. 2, hospital and health system leaders joined unit staff to celebrate the award.
