Yale New Haven Health System will upgrade to the 2015 version of Epic over the weekend of Feb. 20-21. The upgrade includes many enhancements to workflows and in some cases, the look and feel of parts of Epic. A document showing some of the top enhancements with brief descriptions is available at its.ynhh.org or on the Project Epic page on the YNHHS intranet. All training documents will be posted on the Learning Home Dashboards Feb. 1, including tips and tricks for upgraded items and PowerPoint slides by application and/ or user role. In addition, some training videos will be posted onto Skillport or HealthStream — the Learning Home Dashboards will direct users to the video locations. Users who need help getting to their Learning Home Dashboards may use the how-to guide on the Epic log-on screen.
