YNHH’s Heart and Vascular Center recently earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Chest Pain re-certification. The two-year certification was awarded after a site review that evaluated clinical programs across the continuum of care. The HVC was evaluated in three core areas: compliance with consensus-based national standards; effective use of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to manage and optimize care; and an organized approach to performance measurement and improvement. YNHH is the first Connecticut hospital to earn this certification.
