Project Infor training to begin soon

Training on Infor, Yale New Haven Health System’s new enterprise resource planning system, is scheduled to begin mid-May.

Most Infor training will be provided electronically, on an Infor Learning Management System that will include e-learnings, training materials and additional training opportunities. All users will have access to the system and will be notified when and how to access training. Before the go-live, users will also be able to practice on the Learning Management System, which will walk them through logging into and navigating Infor and executing daily tasks.

Infor, scheduled to launch in July, will transform the health system’s business processes, by integrating core business and other non-clinical functions in Finance, Supply Chain Management and Human Resources at all YNHHS delivery networks into one platform. Enterprise resource planning systems provide visibility, analytics and efficiency across every aspect of a business. Using the latest technologies, these systems facilitate the flow of real-time information across departments, so businesses can make data-driven decisions and manage performance – live.

At YNHHS, Infor will replace the Lawson system currently used for functions such as non-patient billing, purchase orders, employee benefits administration, general finance and many others. Employees will use Infor to access information and functions currently found in Manager Self Service and Employee Self Service, such as pay and benefits information and performance reviews.

Watch for future communications about Infor training and new features. For more information, visit Project Infor on the intranet.
