Sharon Klarman, RN, BSN; Kara Ventura, RN, DNP
Sharon Klarman, RN, BSN, has been named patient service manager, Kidney Transplant Program. She joined YNHH as a clinical transplant coordinator in 2013, was subsequently promoted to lead coordinator and, most recently, to assistant patient service manager of the Kidney Transplant Program. Klarman earned her BSN from Northeastern University and is pursuing her master’s in healthcare administration from Texas Tech University.
Kara Ventura, RN, DNP, has been named PSM, Liver Transplant Program. Ventura also oversees the Pediatric Liver and Kidney programs. She joined YNHH in 2017 as APSM, Liver Transplant Program. She had previously worked in transplant at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY, and Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Ventura earned her BS in nursing from Fairfield University; her MS in pediatric nurse practitioner and doctorate in clinical practice from Columbia School of Nursing; and her MS in family nurse practitioner from the University of Boston.
