YNHH names Magnet Nurse of the Year

Kelly Bonito, RN, Neuroscience/Epilepsy, has been named Yale New Haven Hospital’s 2018 Magnet Nurse of the Year. On June 19, nursing leaders, including Chief Nursing Officer Ena Williams, RN, (right) joined Bonito and her co-workers and loved ones in the SP 6-3 conference room for a surprise celebration. The award recognizes Bonito’s expertise, leadership skills, dedication to patients and colleagues and role in improving unit outcomes. Bonito is now YNHH’s nominee for the National Magnet Nurse of the Year award, to be presented by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in October
