Kids at the New Haven Police Athletic League’s Summer Camp never know what to expect when Yale New Haven Hospital employees show up. This year was no exception, as the hospital again sponsored two days of the camp at Wilbur Cross High School in July. Nearly 400 campers ages 8 to 13 enjoyed YNHH health and fitness day July 20, participating in basketball, "dancercise," compression-only CPR instruction and a nutrition discussion. On July 27, campers got a taste of a “day in the life” at the hospital, visiting stations featuring the Emergency Department, OR, PACU, SkyHealth helicopter and more, and learning about fire safety and emergency preparations. Thank you to the 187 YNHH employees who participated.
