Surrounded by managers, colleagues and loved ones, 14 proud Yale New Haven Hospital employees graduated from the School at Work (SAW) program Aug. 11. SAW, which began at YNHH in 2005, is a six-month program that teaches subjects such as math, medical terminology, reading, writing, time management and goal setting. Classes are designed to give an extra boost to employees who want to get ahead in their careers, pursue a new position or further their education.
