Angel A. Bruno has been named vice president, Total Rewards, Yale New Haven Health System. Since joining YNHHS’ Human Resources division in September 2018 as executive director, Total Rewards, he has led the ongoing standardization of compensation and benefits, where appropriate, across the health system, and championed the use of technology to more efficiently and effectively provide HR services. Bruno is currently leading an assessment and anticipated redesign of YNHHS’ paid time off program, and a review and retooling of the performance management process. Before joining YNHHS, Bruno was vice president, Total Rewards, for Avangrid, Inc., an energy company in Orange. He earned his BA in organizational behavior and management from Brown University and an MBA/MSM from Albertus Magnus College.
