Yale New Haven Hospital kicked off the 2020 United Way campaign Oct. 29 with an appeal to employees from Keith Churchwell, MD, YNHH president, to consider supporting the campaign.
“Yale New Haven Hospital and United Way share the same vision of creating stronger, more equitable communities where all families can live to their full potential,” Dr. Churchwell said in his appeal. “Our participation in the annual United Way campaign is an important demonstration of our commitment to this vision.”
YNHH has been a longtime supporter of United Way of Greater New Haven, which helps local service agencies working to ensure, among other goals, that children are educated and families are stable and secure. YNHH campaign chairs are Kathleen Bruenn, senior manager, Clinical Laboratory Services; Antonietta Hallet, simulation development strategy specialist, SYN:APSE Center; and Lynda Pasquarella, communications and logistics coordinator, Human Resources.

The deadline to contribute to the campaign is Jan. 9, 2021. Payroll deductions begin in mid-January 2021.
