Eleven New Haven high school students considering healthcare careers got a firsthand look at life in a hospital this summer as part of YNHH's five-week School to Career program. The students worked in a variety of clinical and non-clinical areas, where they had an opportunity to interact with hospital employees and patients. With some of the students are Human Resources staff members, back row (l-r): Amy Boucher, executive director, Talent Acquisition; Paul Patton, vice president, Human Resources; and Cynthia Lowman, career counselor, Talent Acquisition.
