The Bridgeport Campus Emergency Department night shift recently earned PEACE (Patient Experience Award for Caring and Excellence) recognition. Eight patients arrived at the ED with carbon monoxide exposure. The team worked together to care for all the patients, four of whom were transferred for hyperbaric treatment, and ensured the family’s pet was being cared for.
