Employees are encouraged to take Yale New Haven Health’s 2023 Safety Culture Pulse Survey and share their thoughts about safety throughout the health system.
The survey, available May 30 - June 13, takes just five to 10 minutes to complete. Visit the employee intranet for the survey link or scan the QR code below. It is open to clinical and non-clinical employees, contract workers, medical staff members, administrators and support staff hired on or before Feb. 28, 2023.
“It is critical to hear the voices of all those who contribute to and witness our safety culture to align the organization around a mission to achieve zero harm,” said Christian M. Pettker, MD, chief patient safety officer and associate chief quality officer, YNHHS and Yale Medicine.
The online survey, developed by Press Ganey, includes multiple-choice questions about resources, teamwork, pride and reputation. Responses are confidential; only aggregated data and comments will be shared.
Results are extremely important to YNHHS’ Safety and Quality team and leaders and will guide important initiatives to improve safety for all teams. Debriefing on results and action planning will occur in late June through August.
