Tracy Gambardella PA-C, MPA, has been named advanced practice provider (APP) director, Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Women’s Services. She joined the hospital in 1998 as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit APP. Since 2012, Gambardella has been the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit APP clinical manager for Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, overseeing APP neonatal clinical practices at the York Street, Saint Raphael and Bridgeport Hospital campuses. Gambardella earned her BS and Master of Physician Assistant at Duquesne University.
Lisa R. Leffert, MD, has been named chief of Anesthesiology at Yale New Haven and Bridgeport hospitals and chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine. Before joining Yale New Haven, Dr. Leffert was associate professor of anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and chief of the Division of Obstetric Anesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned her MD from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency and was chief resident in anesthesia at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Sandra Weber, RN, MSN, has been named patient services manager, Bariatric Unit (Main 6). She joined the former Hospital of Saint Raphael in 1998 and served as a clinical nurse, charge nurse and preceptor. She was promoted to nurse care coordinator and to assistant PSM in 2014. Weber earned her BSN from Southern Connecticut State University and her MSN in nursing leadership from Western Governors University.
