Pia Engstrom, RN, has been named patient service manager, Transitional Age Youth unit (WS 3), Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital, after serving as interim PSM. Since joining YNHH in 2006, she has held a number of positions in various specialty areas, including assistant patient service manager for Child Psychiatry Inpatient Services and Adolescent/Young Adult Psychiatric Services. She earned her diploma in nursing from the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing and her BS in nursing from Southern Connecticut State University.
Carlos Rogers, RN, MSN, has been named patient service manager, General Adult psychiatric unit (Celentano 1). He joined YNHH in 2012, and has served as assistant patient service manager, Adult Primary Care Clinic, Saint Raphael Campus, and most recently as clinical program manager, Surgical Specialties, at the SRC. He earned his BA in sociology and BS in nursing from Washburn University and his MS in nursing in executive leadership at Chamberlain College.
Perioperative Services recently announced new leadership appointments, including: Holly Robins, CRNA, director of CRNA and Perfusion Services; Craig Odermatt, director of Operations; and Donna Wysocki, RN, patient service manager, Preop/PACU, Saint Raphael Campus.
Robins joined YNHH in 1996 as a certified registered nurse anesthetist and was promoted to manager, overseeing growth in the staff from nine to sixty-two CRNAs. She earned her nursing degree from Western Connecticut State University, her MBA from Quinnipiac University and her doctorate in nurse anesthesia from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Odermatt joined the hospital in 1997 as a financial analyst and served most recently as business manager, Perioperative Services. He earned his BS in business administration from the University of Connecticut.
Wysocki joined YNHH in 2014 as assistant patient service manager in the Saint Raphael Campus Preop/PACU and most recently served as interim PSM. She earned her BSN and MSN from Sacred Heart University.
