Employees are reminded that smoking at the hospital and all of its properties, including parking garages, is a violation of the Employee Code of Conduct. Around the hospital campuses, no-smoking zones are designated with a blue line painted on the curbs. Consistent with the health system’s values, employees who choose to use tobacco/vapor products before/after work or while on unpaid work breaks are encouraged to be respectful of YNHH’s neighbors and not use tobacco/vapor products near hospital properties that are close to homes. Employees who want to quit smoking can visit HRConnect, for links to programs and resources that can help.
