The 2016 - 2017 program requires influenza vaccination for all employees,
employed physicians, students and volunteers as a condition of employment.
Employees may receive their vaccination at one of the flu vaccination
fairs; those who work off campus should talk with their manager about
arrangements. Also, employees enrolled in a YNHHS medical benefit plan may
receive the vaccination from a pharmacy in the CVS Caremark vaccination
network or from their primary care physician. Employees must enter the proof
of vaccination into Employee Self Service (ESS). Detailed directions and other
flu vaccine information are on the ESS dashboard.
Employees who submitted a request for religious or medical exemption by the
Sept. 30 deadline will be notified by Oct. 28 if their request is approved.
The deadline for all employees to receive the flu vaccination is Dec. 1.
