“We couldn’t be Yale New Haven without you”

YNHH’s business associates, unit clerks, clerical associates, information associates and clinical services assistants marked their day April 24 with a special celebration. Keynote speaker Susan Haufe, executive director, Patient Experience, discussed the critical role these professionals play in the lives of patients, family members and fellow employees. “When I round on the units, the patient service managers frequently introduce you as ‘the person who holds the unit together,’” she said. “We couldn’t be Yale New Haven without you.” The celebration honored staff members in these positions for length of service, and those who advanced on the clinical ladder.
