Expanded, renovated dental centers are something to smile about

On July 15, Yale New Haven leaders and New Haven Mayor Toni Harp helped officially open the Adult and Pediatric Dental centers and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery center at One Long Wharf. The new Adult Dental Center, which was relocated from the York Street Campus, will serve more than 40,000 patients annually. The move improves patients’ and families’ access to expert care by bringing multiple specialties, including adult and pediatric dental, orthodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery, into a single location. General and pediatric dentists will practice at One Long Wharf, along with oral surgeons, orthodontists, endodontists and prosthodontists. The center also caters to adult and pediatric patients with special needs.
