YNHH salutes Magnet Nurse of the Year

Congratulations to Karen Reyes Benzi, RN, recently named Yale New Haven Hospital’s 2019 Magnet Nurse of the Year for her outstanding contributions to nursing. A Navy veteran who works on Smilow Cancer Hospital’s Infusion unit, Reyes Benzi has helped patients who are also veterans access services from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other organizations. Reyes Benzi is now YNHH’s nominee for the National Magnet Nurse of the Year award, to be presented by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in the fall.
