Employee flu vaccination fairs begin this month
Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 17, employees may visit flu vaccination fairs at the York Street or Saint Raphael campuses. Fairs will be held (check signs outside fair sites to verify dates and times):
York Street Campus, East Pavilion Cafeteria special events area
- Oct. 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21: 7 am - 7 pm
- Oct. 22, 23, 24 and 25: 7:30 am - 3 am (the following day)
- Oct. 26, 27, 28 and 29: 7 pm - 7 am (the following day)
- Oct. 29: 7 pm - 3 am (the following day)
- Oct. 30 and 31: 7:30 am - 3 am (the following day)
- Nov. 1, 2 and 3: 7:30 am - 3 am (the following day)
- Nov. 3: 7:30 am - 8 am (the following day)
- Nov. 4 and 5: midnight - 8 am
- Nov. 6 and 7: 7 am - 6 pm
- Nov. 9 and 11: 7 am - 7 pm

The 2017 - 2018 program requires influenza vaccination for all employees, employed physicians, students and volunteers as a condition of employment.
Employees may receive their vaccination at one of the flu vaccination fairs; those who work off campus should discuss arrangements with their managers.
Alternatively, employees enrolled in a YNHHS medical benefit plan may be vaccinated at a pharmacy in the CVS Caremark vaccination network or by their primary care physician. Employees must enter the proof of vaccination into Employee Self Service. Detailed directions and other flu vaccine information are on the ESS dashboard.
Employees who submitted a request for religious or medical exemption by the Sept. 30 deadline will be notified by Oct. 31 if their request is approved. The deadline for all employees to receive the flu vaccination is Dec. 1.
