New employee recognition programs coming

The NEMG Employee Recognition Committee (ERC) is excited to introduce its three newest programs: Cheers to Our Peers, High 5 Highlights and Super S.T.A.R.

Cheers to Our Peers provides an opportunity to thank or acknowledge colleagues for doing something special.

High 5 Highlights recognizes fellow team members in a five-question interview format. Each month, winners are randomly selected and spotlighted.

Each quarter, NEMG’s Special Thanks And Recognition (S.T.A.R.) award honors employees whose behaviors align with Yale New Haven Health’s Standards of Professional Behavior. For the first time in the program’s history, employees will have the opportunity to vote for their top S.T.A.R. awardee of the year – the Super S.T.A.R. Watch for more information.

“Employee recognition has such an important role in our organization, and it demonstrates how much we appreciate and value our employees,” said Jessica Tottenham, associate director, regional practice operations, and ERC chair. “The ERC is excited to launch these three new programs, especially since they’re completely employee-driven.”
