Yale New Haven Health’s Patient Experience department recently took our Standards of Professional Behavior to the next level, setting up tables at each delivery network and inviting employees to choose connection bracelets that describe what the patient experience means to them. With words such as “respect,” “integrity,” “compassion” and “trust,” the bracelets offered a fun way for employees to illustrate their commitment to our patients. Showing off some of the connection bracelets at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital were (l-r): Shannon Christian, RN, chief nursing officer, L+M and Westerly hospitals; Mary Wadsworth, patient experience consultant, L+M; Tina Bennett, chief patient experience officer, YNHHS; and Chandler Wilson, administrative fellow, YNHHS.
