QCC honors inductees from across the system

In June and July, 631 employees were honored for achieving employment milestones of 25 or more years of service to YNHHS. For the first time ever, all delivery networks were represented in the virtual celebrations.

Among the 631 honorees, 228 had achieved 25 years of service and were officially inducted into the YNHHS Quarter Century Club (QCC). An additional 403 employees celebrating milestones of 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 years were recognized for their years of service to patients, colleagues and communities.

“I want to thank you all for your extraordinary commitment to Yale New Haven Health,” said Pamela Sutton-Wallace, YNHHS president, who hosted the virtual event honoring various divisions within YNHHS. “We are a leading academic health system because of your service, leadership and loyalty to Yale New Haven Health.”

Sharing the program’s history, Sutton-Wallace explained that the QCC started at Yale New Haven Hospital and expanded to all delivery networks this year.

“I’m thrilled to say that because of the success of and enthusiasm for this program, for the first time we have expanded the QCC celebration across the entire health system, including Northeast Medical Group,” Sutton-Wallace said. “I can’t think of a better program to extend to all of our colleagues, to celebrate and thank them for their tremendous support and faithfulness – not only to Yale New Haven Health but to our patients and the communities we serve.”
