Kyle Ballou, Esq., vice president, Yale New Haven Health Community and Government Relations, recently received the American Hospital Association Grassroots Champion Award. Ballou was recognized as Connecticut's champion and joins leaders nationwide who most effectively educate elected officials on major issues affecting their health system’s vital role in the community; have done an exemplary job in broadening community support for their health system; and tirelessly advocate for their health system and its patients. Throughout her career, Ballou has cultivated relationships with state lawmakers to promote policy that supports high-quality, equitable healthcare work vital to advancing the mission of all Connecticut hospitals and health systems.
