Team marches in 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s
On Sept. 29, NEMG geriatrician Saeeda Qadri, MD, and teammates Melissa Hanson, APRN, and Evelyn Xitamul, LPN, participated in the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven to honor their patients, caregivers and family members. Dr. Quadri and team, “Brain Waves,” raised $2,070 for the cause, despite it being a cold, wet, rainy day.
“We soldiered on for a very worthy cause, and had a great time,” Dr. Qadri said. “We were one of the top fundraising organizations, and I sincerely thank all who donated and walked for this year’s event.”
