Mark your calendars: Next Epic upgrade is Nov. 10

The next Epic upgrade is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 10, 2 - 3:30 am. This upgrade offers enhancements and new features, including:

• The search feature will be prominently placed on the Epic front door, top center of the screen, for quicker navigation.
• New, more intuitive Epic downtime tool icons and enhanced training for improved user adoption during downtime.
• Ability to send messages to patients who don’t have an active MyChart account, providing a quick way to reach patients for tasks like scheduling appointments and completing questionnaires.
• Diagnosis Aware Notes , which allow a clinician to document the assessment and plan for each diagnosis.
• For providers with outpatient scheduled visits, Abridge (ambient listening) will now be available inside Haiku and Canto mobile devices.
• Enhanced scanning of insurance cards, which will reduce time at registration by allowing the system to pull information directly from the card into Epic.
