There’s still time, but the clock is ticking. The deadline to comply with YNHHS’ mandatory flu vaccination program is Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024. As a condition of continued employment, employees and physicians must receive a flu vaccination annually or provide an approved medical or religious exemption. This requirement also applies to employees working remotely. Employees at Lawrence + Memorial and Westerly hospitals and staff at the VNA of Southeastern CT must either receive a flu vaccination or complete a declination form. Check the intranet for information about scheduling your flu vaccination and optional COVID booster. And don’t forget to complete the online flu module on the Infor Learning Management System (LMS), which is also due by Dec. 1.
