Bridgeport Hospital celebrated National APP Week in September to honor its Advanced Practice Providers. APPs include physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and certified nurse midwives (CNMs). There are more than 2,000 APPs at Yale New Haven Health.
“National APP Week is a great opportunity to educate everyone on the various roles, highlight what we do and where we work,” said Adam Olsen, senior PA III at Bridgeport Hospital and a member of the APP Executive Council.
