Glynn Stanton has been named chief information officer (CIO) for Yale New Haven Health System, Yale Medicine and Yale Health. In addition to his new responsibilities, Stanton will continue as chief information security officer (CISO). In these roles Stanton will oversee Digital Technology Solutions’ technical operations, including infrastructure and a unified data ecosystem, along with the security of the organization’s information assets. Since joining YNHHS more than a decade ago, Stanton has spearheaded numerous enhancements in the Information Security Office, information technology infrastructure, end-user computing and the Service Desk. A national cybersecurity authority, Stanton has supported the American Hospital Association’s advocacy efforts to help lower the cost of security tools for hospitals nationwide.
