Yale New Haven Health’s Center for Health Care Innovation recently announced the Health AI Championship, a competition designed to showcase groundbreaking applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in health care.
The competition invites employees and faculty from hospitals and health systems in Connecticut to develop AI-driven solutions that address critical challenges in patient care and healthcare operations.
Up to eight winning proposals will receive funding, with up to $100,000 for first prize. The winning team will also be able to validate their solution at Yale New Haven Health, providing the opportunity for impact in a real-world clinical setting.
Six organizations have already committed to participating in the championship, including YNHHS, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Gaylord Hospital, Nuvance Health, Hartford HealthCare and UConn Health.
