Congratulations to Lena Rodriguez, medical assistant, winner of Northeast Medical Group’s first-ever Super S.T.A.R. Award.
Every quarter, NEMG recognizes three to four S.T.A.R. (Special Thanks And Recognition) recipients whose behaviors align with Yale New Haven Health’s Standards of Professional Behavior. At the end of the fiscal year, a special vote is held to honor the Super S.T.A.R., an employee selected by their peers, for truly going above and beyond and leaving a lasting impact on others.
“The Super S.T.A.R. program is incredibly meaningful to both the organization and to me,” said Jessica Tottenham, associate director, practice operations, and head of the NEMG Employee Recognition Committee. “It engages all employees. It’s inclusive, builds stronger connections and reinforces our commitment to acknowledging and fostering a culture of appreciation.”
