On Wear Red Day Lawrence + Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab staff showed their true colors – and a dedication to heart health they demonstrate every day.
We were doing our part to raise heart-health awareness!
On Feb. 7 Yale New Haven Health employees participated in – you guessed it – National Wear Red Day, part of American Heart Month. Throughout the month, physicians and staff provided information on heart conditions and treatments, heart health tips, blood pressure screenings and more. Some of the many Bridgeport Hospital Bridgeport Campus employees who got in on the fun for Wear Red Day.
In addition to offering heart health information, staff performed blood pressure screenings at some locations, including Greenwich Hospital.
At Westerly Hospital, all signs pointed to heart health, as Cardiac Rehabilitation team members joined other staff at an info table.
From their shirts to their shoes, staff with Northeast Medical Group Cardiology in Waterford got in on the fun.
Knowledgeable staff at Yale New Haven Hospital’s Saint Raphael Campus offered a healthy dose of information on Wear Red Day. Chefs with Sodexo, the hospital’s food services company, also served up some healthy snacks.
