New Perspectives on employee news

I am pleased to launch the premier issue of Perspectives, the new newsletter for the employees of Yale New Haven Health. This newsletter will combine health system news and information from each YNHHS delivery network into one publication. It’s designed to give employees a global view of health system activities that impact everyone, along with coverage of the goings-on at the delivery networks.

Our health system is moving fast, with so much work being accomplished to grow our programs and services as well as our employee experience. Our hospitals and employees are doing great things, and we want to keep spotlighting that exemplary work. At the same time, more employees are working with colleagues at different delivery networks on various teams, committees and workgroups. This cross-network teamwork breaks down barriers, builds better understanding and instills pride in a stronger academic health system. Because together, we are Yale New Haven Health.

Perspectives will cover delivery network and health system news, and will also have some new features, including:

• “Ask HRConnect” – a column that answers common questions about employee benefits 
• “Three questions for” – an informal way to learn more about leaders throughout YNHHS
• “A look at” articles focusing on departments
