Jorge Rodriguez, MPA, (left) has been named Yale New Haven Health System executive vice president and chief ambulatory officer; and Patrick Kenney, MD, (right) has been appointed chief ambulatory physician executive and associate dean for Clinical Affairs at Yale School of Medicine. Rodriguez and Dr. Kenney will work together to define, lead and implement ambulatory strategy across the enterprise. In addition, they will oversee all Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) and Yale Medicine (YM) and hospital-based outpatient office locations.
Rodriguez joined YNHHS in 2023 as chief operating officer and senior vice president of the aligned clinician enterprise encompassing NEMG and YM. He has over 20 years of experience leading administrative and financial operations in large, complex healthcare organizations.
Since joining YNHHS 10 years ago, Dr. Kenney has been medical director of Corporate Supply Chain, interim chair of the Department of Urology and, most recently, medical director of the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center at Greenwich Hospital. He will continue to be an active clinician in the Department of Urology.
