Jacquelyn Leonard, APRN, Pediatric Interventional Radiology nurse practitioner, was recently named the 2024 Yale New Haven Hospital Magnet Nurse of the Year. She is now YNHH’s nominee for national Magnet Nurse of the Year. During her 38 years as a YNHH nurse, Leonard has used evidence-based practice and innovation to influence policy development, practice guidelines and the creation of new programs to deliver safe, quality care to pediatric patients. She has used research to standardize the care of pediatric patients in Interventional Radiology, including those with vascular anomalies.
